A Bit About Us

IPI is a group of like-minded paranormal investigators from Illinois and Wisconsin who have collaborated with one another so to explore haunted places, real life ghost stories, unexplained phenomena, and other strange things that have plagued people. Every member of IPI performs their duties professionally and with the utmost respect to our surroundings and those we are investigating for. Members have a combined experience of over 30 years investigating, searching, exploring, and, on a rare occasion, running from those things that go bump in the night.
Every investigation performed by IPI is done so with an open mind but also to try to identify any natural causes to the claims. We are neither a believer nor a skeptic when we enter into any investigation. We believe that if you truly want to prove paranormal activity, you must first try to disprove it. We use scientific equipment and personal experiences when performing any investigation and never use Oujia Boards, Séances, or Witchcraft to to invoke any spirit activity.
It is our belief that when personal experience can be backed with scientific proof, it gives it more credibility. Over half of the claims presented to us can in some way be credited to some type of normal human activity. On some occasions we also post our evidence for others to also look over and make their own decisions on if it is paranormal or not.
We never charge for our services and do not call ourselves professionals. It is also our belief that there is no such thing as a professional in this field. If someone claims to be a professional then they, in our opinion, are falsely advertising themselves.
